By downloading, installing or using "Scan Factory" (bundle identifier: com.vincent.ScanApp, the "App") you agree to these Terms. The App is developed and provided by Pin-Han Su.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control. Your use is also governed by the Apple Standard EULA.
"Scan Factory Premium" is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically and is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Pricing is as shown on the App Store; payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies — request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Documents you scan are processed entirely on your device; you are responsible for their content and use. You represent that you hold the necessary rights to the content you scan and will not use the App to infringe intellectual property rights or violate applicable law.
Document Lock requires a device passcode and is verified by iOS. Locked documents are excluded from system search and in-app search, and are fully restored when unlocked. Exported PDFs can be protected with an open password using the system-provided 128-bit encryption. Keep your passwords safe — if a password is lost, neither we nor the App can unlock a protected PDF for you.
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Keep your original documents safe; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for file damage, loss or sync delays.
We may revise these Terms from time to time; revisions take effect when posted on this page, and material changes will be noted inside the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.).
