1.None of your data is collected

Compress Factory has no account, no sign-in, no network connection, no ads, and no analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. Everything you do in the app happens only on your phone — nothing is logged, and nothing is sent anywhere.

2.Everything happens on your device

All photo and PDF compression runs on your device. The files you select are read locally only at the moment of compression, and the results are saved only where you choose — Photos, the Files app, or a destination you pick from the share sheet. Nothing is ever uploaded to any server or cloud.

3.Permissions — only what's truly needed

• Photos: Selecting photos uses the built-in system photo picker, so the app never needs or receives access to your photo library. Only when you tap "Save to Photos" does it ask for "Add Photos Only" permission — used solely to write the compressed results, never to read your existing photos.
• Privacy bonus: By default, compression removes sensitive information such as GPS location from your photos, so you can share and upload with confidence.

4.Purchases

Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Payment is processed entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment details. "Restore Purchase" is likewise verified by Apple through your Apple Account.

5.Children

This app is rated 4+, suitable for all ages, and collects no data from anyone.

6.Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the effective date.
